CP-3800 PIONA+? Analyzer for Hydrocarbon Characterization of Engine Fuels

The Varian PIONA+? Analyzer is dedicated to characterize the complete hydrocarbon sample composition, including individual oxygenates, in a single analysis of spark ignition engine fuels.

The PIONA+ Analyzer provides quantitative determination of all target hydrocarbon groups, including carbon number distribution of each group. The aromatics, benzene and toluene are separate from the matrix as well in individual peaks. As part of the same analysis, oxygenates are analyzed individually, enabling total oxygen content to be determined.
