Performance
- Sample collection optimized with built-in peak detection -- Monitors the signal from start to end, collecting your valuable sample with extreme accuracy. Any combination of time windows, signal level, and slope discrimination can be used to minimize errors and maximize recoveries.
- Multiple collection modes enhance sample fraction consistency -- Fractions can be collected in time- or drop-counting modes or in combinations, such as time fractions within a peak or drop-counting within a peak. With an optional valve, the unwanted eluent is automatically diverted to waste, thus improving collection efficiencies. A variety of tubes, vessels, or large volume bottles are available.
- No volume limit -- 12, 16, 18-mm tube rack or 28-mm scintillation vials can be used. The ProStar 701 can be fitted with 96-well plates for combinatorial chemistry applications. For preparative HPLC, where high flow-rates are used, the ProStar 701 and ProStar 704 can be upgraded with a funnel rack system to effortlessly handle large volume, multi-liter sample collection.
- Cold-room operation compatibility -- Both modules are capable of operating in temperatures down to 0° C at high humidity. Internal heaters protect sensitive components from water condensation, making these systems cold room compatible.
- Easy programming -- Advanced microprocessor control allows you to program almost any collection mode with just a few keystrokes. A large front panel display makes programming fast and easy. The ProStar 701 and ProStar 704 stores up to four or nine programs, respectively.
