GC Columns
CP-Sil Columns
The CP-Sil line consists of a range of stationary phases
which are based on a polysiloxane backbone. Functional groups are
added to the polymer to introduce selectivity. Each polymer used
for the CP-Sil line is manufactured in-house and is optimized to
obtain highest degree of reproducibility. The CP-Sil includes chemical
bonded, non-chemical bonded and ms-type phases.
Chemically bonded phases have a high stability and
durability. As the stationary phase is chemically bonded to the
fused silica surface, it can withstand direct (liquid) solvent
injections, and in case of contamination, columns can be rinsed
with solvents to extend column life.
EZ-GRIP™
All capillary columns from Varian are standard outfitted with
EZ-GRIP™ for
enhanced ease-of-use. Varian’s EZ-GRIP capillary column cage
makes installation, coupling and operation of capillary columns
user-friendly, less time consuming and also improve reliability
for the method.

to exact specifications. A final quality assurance test ensures
that every GC column shipped meets our tight specifications,
published in the test report supplied with each GC column.
