The new ultra-low bleed FactorFour VF-1701ms columns offer a new standard in increased signal-to-noise ratio for environmental samples containing semi-volatile organic compounds, pesticides and PCB’s covered by EPA test methods 500, 600 and 8000 series, especially EPA 508, 525, 608, 625 and 8140/8141.

Elutes difficult analytes and gives perfect peak shape
Difficult trace analytes such as p,p’-DDT which regularly decompose and give rise to poor peak shape, such as endrin aldehyde, are now virtually eliminated. The result is a significant improvement in signal to noise ratio for your trace analytes - whether you are analysing concentrations as high as 200pg or as low as 2pg. See Figure 1.

Eliminates ghost peaks & unstable baselines
With the new ultra-low bleed VF-1701ms (bleed specification of 2pA @ 280 °C for a 60 m, 0.25μm, 0.25 mm ID column), reduced bleed means you can also benefit from virtual elimination of ghost peaks and unstable baselines – giving you more accuracy than ever before in your quantitations. See figure 2.

The VF-1701ms comes with EZ-GRIP™ simplifying installation, coupling and operation of capillary columns. For guaranteed performance the retention index, efficiency, selectivity and bleed is measured and specified on the test report supplied with each column.
